Welded wire fabric

HOMESTEADER TOP TIP:
We keep hearing problems people are having with their goats getting their heads stuck in the wire fencing. We’re not exactly sure why manufacturers call it “Goat Fencing” because we’ve found it not to be reliable, secure, or safe for goats. Goat fencing is wire fencing with 4″ x 4″ squares. While this is a tight enough space to keep your goats from escaping, it’s not small enough to keep your goats from getting their heads stuck in the holes of the fence. That’s why we went with 2 x 4″ wire fencing. This 50′ roll was under $35 at our local farm store and has worked perfectly for us. With the wood frame around each panel our goats have remained safe, secure, and head stuck free.
