Note to self, don’t tie the dog to one of the clothesline poles. He doesn’t like it and will dig out the post then drag it around the yard. So today it was out with the old clothesline and up with a completely new and improved one. The new one got buried deeper with more cement to hold each post in place. We used dado joints and 45 degree supports to add to its structural strength. To give it a more country look we hung a small basket off one post to hold our clothespins and the the other post got a hanging flower basket. We like it much better than the old one and so far, so does the dog.
