We had a pretty nice haul this weekend in our ALL ORGANIC GARDENS. This is our first year growing VIDALIA ONIONS, which we started because they are a favorite of GREAT GRANDMA, who turns 91 this year, and has been an essential part of our learning process.
The volunteer mini pumpkins showed up in the middle of our corn. Some might think that pumpkins are way to early to harvest, but they actually act as a natural DE-WORMER for our chickens and they love them.
Here is a link to our WIRE BASKET that we have filled with our potatoes. It’s been a great addition to our homestead and how we keep our gardens organic.
